Professional Experience
I have been employed in the appraisal profession since 2014. I started working for the BC Assessment Authority, where I performed appraisals on single-family dwellings, multi-family dwellings, vacant land, foreshore improvements, and mass appraisals at the neighbourhood, jurisdictional, and regional levels. I have ample experience managing property assessment appeals and have prepared numerous written evidence submissions for independent tribunals.

In March of 2017, I joined Cunningham & Rivard Appraisals Ltd. to focus on private residential and commercial assignments including: acquisitions, financing, taxation, insurance, and litigation. Since March 2017, I have completed numerous assignments in these areas. My appraisal philosophy is to find the most recent and relevant data, maintain clear communication with my client, and be flexible to adapt to changing circumstances and client needs. I am currently endorsed by the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) as a designated member in good standing. I also carry full errors and omissions insurance as required by the AIC.

Additional Information
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We can frequently be found out exploring the Saanich Peninsula, taking in the various hikes or exploring the coastline in our kayaks. I also enjoy travelling to new places, experiencing new cultures, and meeting new people. Two of my current goals are to build my client base by networking and taking on new clients of all types, and to get involved in my local community through volunteering at the local community centre, rotary, and municipality.
